The SAT essay is funny. On one hand, colleges don’t really give a hoot about your SAT essay score (a big reason why the New SAT now has an optional essay in the first place). On the other hand, it’s so easy to master that you might as well figure out how to write it! According to recent rumors, the College Board is still giving “experimental” sections to students who don’t take the essay, but if you take the essay, you won’t have any possibility of being subjected to the experimental sections. In my opinion, it’s better to go with the devil you know! My online program has some very simple, easy-to-memorize templates and planning procedures that you can use to get a perfect or near-perfect score every time, but even if you don’t do well on the SAT essay, it’s not the end of the world. It doesn’t affect your overall “out of 1600” score, and admissions officers don’t care much about it!
