The answer to this question is simple, but not easy: practice.

If you’re not familiar with the material facts required for this test, or if you’re not comfortable with the strategies, tactics, and overall approach for each section, then it’ll be very challenging to improve your speed. Don’t even work on your timing, specifically, when you’re just getting started. Instead, focus solely on the material and strategic elements you need to learn, and practice them over and over again until they become second nature. Once they do, you’ll have a proper foundation for speed enhancement – but not until then. Once you’re comfortable with the material and strategy, you should start adding timed practice into your routine and forcing yourself to finish each section before the bell.
