If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the course of my career, it’s this: the earlier you start prepping for this test, the happier you’ll be and the better you’ll do. Consider two extremes: the student who starts his senior year and the student who starts her freshman fall. The senior MUST complete his prep before the November SAT/ACT if he wants his scores to count, and if his scores aren’t good enough – too bad. That means tons of stress, tons of necessary study time per day, etc. Now imagine the freshman: zero deadlines, zero stress, and all the time in the world. If you’re a freshman, you can spend 15-25 minutes a day on your prep and rack up over 100 hours of experience by the start of your sophomore year without even disrupting your schedule! Better yet, you’ll be DONE with this process earlier, which means it’s off your plate and you can focus on all the other madness surrounding the college application process.
